IPL (short for Intense Pulse Light) is used to address the signs of ageing such as pigmentation, like freckles and sun spots as well as broken capillaries and rosacea.
Using energy to heat the pigments being targeted, whether brown or red in colour, the body then naturally removes them resulting in a clearer, brighter complexion. This technology is best suited for lighter skin colours.

Microneedling is also known as ‘collagen induction therapy’. By creating a controlled injury to the skin using several tiny needles, the body’s natural healing response kicks in, resulting in new collagen and elastin production. Within days, a real improvement will be visible and further improvements will be evident for weeks and months to come.
This is a great treatment to address acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture and complexion.

Where skin laxity is a bigger concern, Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling is a great choice as the needles release a burst of RF energy as they penetrate the skin. RF energy delivers heat into the deeper layers of the skin which can stimulate even more collagen in the skin than microneedling alone.
The surface of the skin remains in tact so there is less downtime than in traditional micro needling but the results of tightening do continue to improve over the following weeks/months.
